Brief artistic bio (required for Faculty, Guest Artists and Subs):
Rachel Feinerman started dancing at Barnard College and received her BA in Dance/Political Science. She has performed for Laurie De Vito and Dancers, Ricardo Gomez Dance Theater, Daria Fain/Human Behavior Explorers, Wilson Mendieta, Suki John, Isabel Gotzkowsky, Yael Levy, Sakura Shimada, and many others. She has been cast in photo and film projects including Stephanie Matthews black & white series "Dance: A Study of Movement and Fluidity" and Daria Fain's dance film, Clocks and Clouds. Rachel's choreography has been seen at DNA, Green Space, WAX, Makor, Evolving Arts, and Greenwich House Theater. She has taught at Barnard College, Educational Alliance, and 3rd Ward. Her classes integrate her varied dance training and performance experience including Simonson, modern, qi-gong, yoga, and folk dance.
